EUSA and AUSF sign Memorandum of Understanding
The European University Sports Association (EUSA) and the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in fostering collaboration and developing joint initiatives between Europe and Asia.
This partnership aims to create new opportunities that bring student sports communities across the two continents closer together.
The MoU represents a shared commitment to promoting the values of student sport, including inclusivity, education, and cross-cultural exchange. By working together, EUSA and AUSF aim to enhance opportunities for young athletes, share best practices, and create innovative programs that strengthen international ties in university sports.

EUSA extends its sincere appreciation to Liu Lixin, President of AUSF, and Khalid Almuzani, Vice President of AUSF, for their kind invitation, warm reception, and exemplary collaboration during the signing event.

In parallel, productive discussions on future mutual cooperation were held with the China Student Sports Federation (CSSF), further broadening the framework for international partnerships. Both parties agreed to continue defining specific areas of cooperation, with plans to formalise an MoU next year. EUSA warmly thanks Chen Dongsheng, the newly elected Chief of CSSF, and his team for their excellent hospitality and for facilitating fruitful discussions.

In addition, EUSA also met separately with FISU President Leonz Eder and Secretary General Matthias Remund to discuss common projects planned for 2026, further exploring avenues for collaboration at the global level.
