EUSA 2025-26 Magazine published

The European University Sports Association has published the annual edition of its magazine: the EUSA Year Magazine 2025/26 recaps the European Universities Championships 2025 and reflects on other events and projects.
The publication gives a comprehensive overview of EUSA flagship events, as well as other activities throughout the year, as the organization continued the work actively with various events and initiatives.

In this edition of the magazine, you will be able to find the welcome address by the new EUSA President, the updated information on EUSA organisation structure after the 2025 EUSA General Assembly, including its Members, Associated Members, the new Executive Committee, EUSA Commissions, and the Secretariat.

The major part of the content focuses on the record season of the European Universities Championships 2025, which, for the very first time, included also the European Universities Padel Championship. Apart from the general information and key statistics, all 16 championships are presented.

The content of the magazine also includes reports on several events, conventions and meetings organised by EUSA over the past 12 months, witnessing the association maintaining open communication and dialogue with all its members throughout the whole year.
Other key meetings and educational events of the year are reported as well, featuring highlights of events held under the EUSA patronage.

Focus is also then given to the EUSA Awards, recognising the achievements of individuals, universities, and associations in European sport over the previous year, with an EUSA Awards Ceremony and Gala.

A chapter of the magazine is dedicated to EUSA’s numerous projects, showcasing its efforts in key areas such as the Associated Members programme, Equal Opportunities, Fair Play, and Dual Careers. Furthermore, it features initiatives like the EUSA Volunteer Programme, and the EUSA Club of Donors, demonstrating EUSA’s commitment to fostering engagement, inclusivity, and excellence in university sports.
Special attention is given to the International Day of University Sport (IDUS) and the European Week of Sport, held under the #BeActive campaign, promoting physical activity across Europe.
Furthermore, the magazine introduces several EU-funded projects where EUSA is actively involved, either as a lead or partner.

The magazine also highlights notable events and accomplishments of EUSA members and partners, including the International University Sports Federation (FISU), continental university sports bodies from Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania, as well as the European Commission, Council of Europe, European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO) & ENGSO Youth, European Fair Play Movement (EFPM), European Athlete as Student (EAS) network, Badminton Europe Confederation, European Rowing, and HEPA Europe.

The last chapter is devoted to the future programme, where the readers will be able to read and stay tuned with the latest information about the upcoming European Universities Games 2026 in Salerno, the European Universities Championships 2027, as well as the European Universities Games 2028 in Split and 2030 in Granada.

EUSA Magazine is a free publication, supported by the International University Sport Federation (FISU) and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
