European Year of Education through Sport
The European Union has declared the Year 2004 officially as the "European Year of Education through Sport" (EYES 2004).
"Move Your Body, Stretch your Mind" is the motto of this campaign, which had to do without a suitable logo so far. This gap is to be filled now by a pan-European logo competition. The European Commission as the initiator of the campaign invites European students of graphic design, communication design, visual communication, media design and related disciplines to participate in the competition and to design a logo. By this means, a creative bandwith of diverse approaches will be obtained in a publicly accepted and transparent procedure.
For the field of education Charlotte Ahlström has been recommended as member of the jury to the European Commissioner Viviane Reding who will be president of the jury.
