EUG 2022: Judo concludes, others carry on

Another combat sport has finished its journey on the European Universities Games 2022 in Lodz, Poland. The finals of judo took place today while the semi-finals for football and badminton were also going strong. Handball and basketball had their round 2 and 3 today.

One of the combat sports, judo, where techniques are generally intended to turn an opponent’s force to one’s own advantage rather than to oppose it directly has showcased its last day of competition today. All the competitors showed courtesy in practice and intended to promote an attitude of calm readiness and confidence throughout all the matches. Emotions and willing to win were not lacking. Competing single and in teams in both men and women categories, they all had their chance to give their best and earn a medal and as well to make sure they compete in the fair play spirit and have fun. We can easily say that judo had a great journey on these European Universities Games in Lodz, Poland.
