ESOM and DiscoverU online events coming up in April

Apart from the preparations for the future sports programme offered by the European University Sports Association (EUSA) in the next months, interesting educational events are also on the schedule.

We are happy to invite you to two insightful webinars that will steal the spotlight in April: the ESOM Webinar on Good Governance and EAS & EUSA Café: University Sports - From Active Lifestyles to Dual Career.

The ESOM webinar on Good Governance will cover the topics of Good Governance and Policy Making, as well as Safety and Security. This online event is scheduled to take place on 11th of April from 15:00 – 17:00 CET.

This project mainly aims to strengthen management and event organisation in university sport, through blended learning, sharing experiences, gaining new information and skills on the key topics of sports management, funding, communication, and other key topics.

ESOM project primarily and directly addresses EU priorities on supporting Good Governance in Sport through promoting the quality of coaching and staff, and indirectly by promoting Sport and Education, supporting the dual careers of athletes.

The second webinar will be organised within the activities of the DiscoverU project in a form of an online EAS & EUSA Café: University Sports - From Active Lifestyles to Dual Career. It will take place online on April 22nd from 12:00 – 13:00 CET.

DiscoverU is a collaborative partnership, co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by EUSA Institute, with the main aim to improve sport and physical activity opportunities for students in higher education on one hand, addressing larger student population; and at the same time promote and support dual career in higher education in partnering countries.

If you are interested in hearing more about Good Governance, Healthy Lifestyle, Grassroot Sport and Dual Career and the goals of both projects, we invite you to join these online events in April.
