ESC and EVS mentors training in Bled

The Slovenian national youth agency Movit organised on June 14 and 15 in Bled a mentors' training for partners involved in the EU-supported initiatives of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and its predecessor European Voluntary Service (EVS). European University Sports Association through its EUSA Institute took part in the event as well.

The mentors working with the hosting organisations took part in the intensive 2-day training that looked at the needs of the international volunteers and participants of the EU mobility programmes of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and European Voluntary Service (EVS), as well as the tools to help their coordinators and mentors.

Bled hosted the training

The main specific themes that were discussed at the training was how to enable personal support, intercultural learning, conflict resolution, learning assistance, Youthpass and competences, and the online linguistic support.

EUSA was represented at the event by Mr Matija Kurnik, who forms part of the mentor team supporting the ESC and EVS participants at the EUSA Office in Ljubljana.
