ESC and EVS coordinators training in Bled

ESC and EVS coordinators training in Bled

Between October 17 and 19, Slovenian national youth agency Movit organised in Bled a training for coordinator of the programmes of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and its predecessor European Voluntary Service (EVS). European University Sports Association through its EUSA Institute took part in the event as well.

30 coordinators first took part in the intensive 2-day training that looked at the needs of the international volunteers that take part in the EU mobility programmes of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and European Voluntary Service (EVS), as well as the tools to help their coordinators and mentors.

Workshops

The last day was focused on the approaches when dealing with young people with insecurities and in distress, including solution-based approaches, non-violent communication, and recognition of diversity of the individuals and their needs.

Participants

EUSA was represented at the event by Mr Andrej Pisl, Communications and Projects Manager.
