Erasmus+ Sport kickoff for projects awarded in 2022

European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) organised an online Erasmus+ Sport Kick off / 2022 Project Coordinator’s Meeting on January 23, 2023.

The event was opened by the Head of Erasmus Mundus & Sport Unit Mr Yves Le Lostecque and Head of Sport Sector Ms Gael Broze, making the introduction to the Erasmus+ Sport actions and recalling the selection process for the 2022 projects, as well as sharing the key statistics. For 2022, 303 projects were selected for funding, out of over 1300 applications.

After the introductions, several key stages of the project and tasks for the coordinators were introduced: Continuous Reporting, Administrative Guidance, Final Reporting and Results Dissemination.

Co-funded by the European Union

European University Sports Association (EUSA), through its Institute, is taking part in several projects supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. In 2023, we are starting with a new project – Enhancing Sport Organisations and Management (ESOM). The project focuses primarily and directly in promotion and support of Good Governance in Sport through promoting the quality of coaching and staff, and also indirectly by promoting Sport and Education, supporting the dual careers of athletes. Both of the priorities are listed under the general EU priority area: Protect integrity and values in sport. ESOM project is Co-funded by the European Union.
