Briefly describe how and why did you get involved with Table Tennis?

My friend brought me to a hall just to try…I liked it, and kept on playing!

What do you study? How do you balance your study, trainings and competitions?

I am studying Law, but Table Tennis is for me more important. I have to practice every day, and my teachers understand this, I just have more homework than the others persons.

"I have to practice every day, and my teachers understand this"

Tell us about your experience at the European Universities Table Tennis Championships 2017. Is this your first time at an EUSA event?

No, it was my second. I played in Geneva in 2015, and I was champion there also. I like these competitions, because here I can play against not only strong players, but also students who like table tennis who can play to a good level.

The European Universities Games 2018 will take place in Coimbra, Portugal, do you hope to be there? Why do you think university sport events are important?

Yes, I hope I will play at the European Universities Games Coimbra 2018. It's important, because students who have strong motivations can practise their sports, meet people from other countries, and speak with different people!

"meet people from other countries, speak with different people!"

This is your chance! What is your message to European students like yourself?

Always try to be better. Sport gives you a good chance to improve!

EUSA would like to congtratulate Anna on becoming the European Universities Table Tennis Women Singles Champion in 2017, we wish her the best in her future studies, and we hope to see her at the European Universities Games 2018 in Coimbra!
