EMPATIA project presented to world university sport audience

During this summer's FISU Forum in Krasnoyarsk, the EMPATIA project on dual career was presented by the President of the European Athlete as Student (EAS) network Ms Laura Capranica.

Ms Capranica gave a lecture on dual career with the topic ‘Enhancing Dual Career of Athletes: Challenges And Opportunities,' and presented also the project of Education Model for Parents of Athletes in Academics (EMPATIA).

The aim of this EU-funded project is to establish an on-line multi-lingual educational programme for parents of young and talented athletes involved in a dual career path. The project is coordinated by the University of Ljubljana, partnered by the University of Rome Foro Italico, University of Coimbra, University of Limerick, INSEP France, EAS, EUSA Institute, Italian Olympic Committee (CONI), Sport Ireland Institute and Ginasio Clube Figuirense.
