So far you realized that the European Universities Games (EUG) 2018 are about sport and competing between the Universities but every European University Sports Associations (EUSA) events are also about education. If you did not notice, in the Social Hub (the place where GTM´s were) you have 4 interesting exhibitions.

The one that you can see at every EUSA events is University Sport Exhibition. Supported by the International University Sport Federation (FISU), Exhibition enables an overview of the development of university sport, with a special focus on European context.In Europe, sport movement covering the field of higher education and involving university and college students has a strong and long tradition.

Next to it you can find the most interesting exhibition of all - Olympic mascot competition. With a wonderful booklet about the history of mascots you can learn a lot when was the first mascot made, which are the most interesting in the history of Olympic sport and perhaps what served as an inspiration for the best mascot ever, the DUC.

If you want to find out more about the architecture of Coimbra, if you are in that field of interest or you study architecture, would be very interesting to you. Presented with pictures and cartboard models you can learn more about the fascinating city of Coimbra and the University Sports Stadium that this year EUG is taking place.

Last, but not least is in the same room where the GTM´s were held. You can see Olympic postcards from all over the world and to feel atmosphere from different places and from different periods.
