The representatives of the Bulgarian National University Sports Federation, Mr. Angel Ivanov, President and Mr. Martin Petrou, Secretary-General were present at the EUSA Executive Committee meeting to present the new structures of their federation.
At the NUSF's General Assembly held on January 11th, 2006 a new Executive Committee was elected, the structure was changed and the new name of the federation became: Bulgarian Association for University Sports 'Academic'. Academic also boasts the strong support of the National Sports Academy and the Ministry of Sports. An internet site will soon be launched.
