Announcing GETZ Gender Equality Conference

Announcing GETZ Gender Equality Conference

The partners consortium of the GETZ project is happy to announce the date of the Gender Equality Conference: the event will be held online on April 22, and the registration will commence a month prior - on March 22.

Gender Equality Toolkit for Generation Z – GETZ is facilitating gender equality in sport leadership by educating and empowering Generation Z, to enable them to become the change agents and role models who can breakdown the gender stereotypes and gender barriers for future generations. An online toolkit has been developed in form of a MOOC (massive open online course), and an education pack is also being finalised, enabling workshop use also offline.

Online partners meeting

Representatives of project partners met online on March 12, finalising the conference and also working on the dissemination and further research related to the project and the topic of gender equality, equity and inclusion - especially in the field of sport.

The online toolkit, which can be taken as a self-paced course, is still open for enrollment, and the registration for the conference will open shortly - and we invite you to save the date (April 22). The event will feature keynote speeches, seminar and workshops, and give plenty of opportunities for interesting debates on the topic of gender equality in sport. Both the toolkit and the conference are available free of charge to the registered participants!

Information about gender equality in sport is available via the online course free of charge

GETZ is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, is coordinated by the University of Worcester (GBR), in cooperation with project partners: Molde University College (NOR), Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (NED), Vrije Universiteit Brussels (BEL), Swedish Sports Confederation (SWE), Croatian Olympic Committee (CRO), and the EUSA Institute (SLO).
