During the meeting, the current activity report was presented and discussed. The European University Sports Association (EUSA) and its Institute are very active in the field of international cooperation and projects, with the EUSA Institute participating, coordinating, and often leading various initiatives, programs, and collaborations.
Special attention was given to the projects where the EUSA Institute acts as the project coordinator. The ongoing initiatives currently include DiscoverU (Discovering university sport and supporting dual career), ESC (European Solidarity Corps - individual and team volunteering), and Erasmus+ mobilities (Youth Exchanges and Mobilities of Youth Workers). The council reflected on the successful conclusion of the FUSION project (Future links for University athletes with Sports clubs Integrating Organised Networks) and welcomed new coordinated projects starting soon: Step-Walk-Run (Supporting Togetherness and Engagement in Physical Walking and Running) and TRACES (Traditional Sports and Games as Resources for Accessible Community and Physical Activity Experiences for Students).

Furthermore, attendees reviewed the projects where EUSA participates as a partner organisation. Current ongoing partnerships include EWWS (European Week of Winter Sport), EUYouSport (European Youth and Sport Together), YouthSportCV (Empowering young people to assess their soft skills gained in sports for improving employment opportunities), Give Sport a Say (Give citizens a real say for the future of the EU in and through sports), and Cycle2Connect (European student cycling challenge: Connecting for sustainable mobility).
The council also previewed upcoming partner projects, notably DualCarHer (Dual Career for Her: Women Athletes in Sport Jobs) and Insport Press (Inclusive Approach to Sport Press Training). In addition, the participants acknowledged the successful recent conclusion of the Runners4All (Runners for All - European Students run) project earlier in 2026.
Through these continuous engagements, EUSA and the EUSA Institute maintain their commitment to promoting university sport and dual career through the fields of good governance, mental & physical health, skills development, safeguarding, sustainability, traineeship and volunteeering.
