2024 Erasmus+ and ESC Calls & Guides available

The European Commission published the new Erasmus+ Call for Proposals and Programme Guide for 2024, as well as the Call and Guide for the European Solidarity Corps for next year.

This guide is essential to understating Erasmus+, providing participating organisations and individuals a comprehensive list of opportunities supported by the programme.

With a set budget of €4.3 billion for next year, Erasmus+ will continue to support transnational experiences of school pupils, students in higher education and vocational education and training. The programme also offers opportunities to adult learners, educators and staff, and young people in non-formal learning programmes.

Cooperation activities under Erasmus+ will continue to bring people and organisations together to work on the programme's four overarching key priorities: inclusion, active citizenship and democratic participation, green and digital transitions.

For this year, from a budget of €4.3 billion, over €63 million is foreseen in the field of sport, earmarked for the call for proposals.

For Erasmus+ projects related to the field of sport, Key Action 1 application opportunity for Mobility of staff in the field of sport, which is a decentralised action (through national agencies) has project submission deadline Februrary 20, 2024, while most of the Key Action 2 application processes for Cooperation partnerships and small-scale partnerships; Capacity building and Not-for-profit European sport events are centralised (through EACEA), with project submission deadline March 5, 2024.

For European Solidarity Corps volunteering, the application process is decentralised (through national agencies), with project submission deadline February 8, 2024.

These two documents provide an overview of the possibilities for projects to be funded by the European Union. Erasmus+ is one of the EU programmes, supporting funding in the fields of education, training, youth and sport; while the European Solidarity Corps supports volunteering and solidarity projects.
