Celebrating #ErasmusDays 2020
Europe as well as the international community is preparing for this year’s edition of the #ErasmusDays festival, with the European University Sports Association also set to join in the celebrations.
#ErasmusDays is a unique three-day celebration of the Erasmus+ Programme in Europe and beyond, where various events are organised across the world to celebrate the Programme, share Erasmus experiences or promote different projects associated with the Erasmus+ Programme.
The fourth edition of this festival will take place on October 15, 16 and 17, with international mobility and European citizenship the focus of this year’s celebrations.
A total of 3 995 events were held in 53 countries to celebrate #ErasmusDays in 2019, with that number expected to be exceeded this year.
An array of different celebrations across the continent and world are scheduled, including exhibitions, concerts, contests, seminars, partner networking, open days, distribution of Europass Mobility documents and digital events.
EUSA, through its Institute, is involved in several projects co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, and will use this year’s #ErasmusDays festival to highlight some of these transnational projects, with special focus on three different topics: Dual Career, Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding in Sport.
Each topic will be explored on a different day, and will be posted on the EUSA social media channels, so keep a close eye on the @eusaunisport handles over the forthcoming days!
A special segment related to EUSA and our involvement in the Erasmus+ programme will be featured on a local Slovenian radio show, EUSA’s media partner Radio Capodistria, which can be accessed at capodistria.rtvslo.si.
