29th SELL Student Games

Riga, Latvia: May 24-26, 2013

The 29th edition of the SELL Student Games will be carried out in Riga, the capital of Latvia between May 24 and 26, 2013.

The SELL Games are an extensive student sports event, which has arisen from the Nordic Country Student Olympics and is staged in one of the member countries (Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia) every year.

SELL movement celebrates its 90th birthday in 2013, and this year’s SELL games expect approximately 3000 participants - the best athletes from leading Latvian universities and 15 other countries. Registration will be open soon for all interested participants.

Competitions will be organized in Track and field athletics, Swimming, Judo, Orienteering, Power lifting, Chess, Table tennis, Badminton, Floorball, Basketball, Volleyball, Football 7-a-side, Cheerleading, Frisbee, Wrestling (Men's Freestyle Wrestling, Women's Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling), Weightlifting, and Rugby 7-a-side.
