7th Friendship Games

Eilat, Israel: June 1-6, 2012

ASA Academic Sport Association Israel, Tel Aviv University Sports Club and Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, under the patronage of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) and the International University Sports Federation (FISU) welcome you to the 2012 edition of the Friendship Games.

The Friendship Games is namely a basketball tournament, at which students of all religions from different parts of the world meet and play sports. The programme will include the basketball competition - men’s and women’s teams, 3 x 3 mixed team tournament, cultural events and tours to Jerusalem, Dead Sea and King Solomon mines.



Despite the fact that competition and results are not of primary focus of the Games, best teams are awarded in the end. In the 2011 edition of the games, the Greek male players returned home with a gold medal, and Israeli women players kept the gold in their home country.

Under the slogan Sun, Fun and Basketball the organisers look forward to host the teams in Eilat, Israel between June 1st and 8th, 2012.
