The Spanish Ministry of Culture, Education and Sport appointed a new president of the Spanish University Sport Committee (CEDU). The new CEDU President is dr. Miguel Cardenal Carro.

 

Mr Carro currently holds professor's post at the University of Extremadura and is a Director of Studies and Research Chair in Sports Law at the King Juan Carlos University.

 

Mr Carro has held positions in various bodies of sport. Since the 2004-2005 season he is the member of the Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation and the Professional Football League.
