Sport U Mag published in France 24 January 2012 The French University Sport Federation has just released its latest edition of its official magazine, Sport U Mag. For its 111th issue, the magazine focuses on the outstanding results achieved by the French university teams and individuals at International and European level. You'll find photos of all the medallists at the latest Winter and Summer Universiades, respectively held in Erzurum and Schenzen where France finished at the 4th and 7th place of the medal table. Their results at the EUSA Championships are especially impressive when you look at the summary table: not less than 9 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. As stated in the magazine, these results show a "growing interest of French universities for European competitions." Prof José Savoye, president of the French University Sport Federation and EUSA Executive committee member welcomes these results in his welcome address but also reminds us that "we can and we have to do even better," not only in terms of results but also in order to develop University Sport even further.
