3rd European Universities Handball Championship

3rd EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

 

Niš, Serbia: July 21-26, 2008


The 3rd EUC Handball was organised this year in the City of Nis (SRB). 15 men and 6 women teams from 13 European countries articipated on the championship organised by the University Sports Federation of Serbia and the University Sports Federation of Nis.

 

In women competition the title of the Champion went to the University of Vincent Pol Lubin. The best scorer was Jasna Djukic from University of Kragujevac (SRB), he Fair play award went to the University of Porto (POR).

 

The University of Ljubljana won in men competition. The best scorer was Caldas Andre from the ISMAI Maia Higher Institute University (POR). The Fair play award as won by the University of Cyprus (CYP).

 

The Award for special gesture and university spirit went to the ISMAI Maia Higher Institute University (POR).

Ljubljana (SLO) will be the organiser of the EUC Handball 2009.
