2nd EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2nd European University Tennis Championship took place in Rouen, France from 28.11. to 03.12.2005. 11 men and 6 women teams (45 athletes) from 8 countries participated at the event. The competition was on a high quality level, there were 8 men players with current ATP ranking (higher 598) and 2 women players with current WTA ranking (higher 492) present. In the men’s final, the University of Moscow won University of Cologne by 2-1 and for the 3rd place, London Metropolitan University won University of Rouen by 2-1. In the women final University of Paris won University of Warsaw by 3-0 and for the 3rd place University of Grenoble won University of Cologne by 3-0.
