Grenoble, France: September 27-29, 2007 The first EUC Rugby 7s, that took part from September 28-29, 2007 in Grenoble (FRA), successfully finished. 12 University Teams from 7 European countries took part on the championship, which was organised by the French University Sports Federation and the University Sports Federation of Grenoble.
The first European Champion became the team from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (GBR), who won in the finals the University of Leeds Met Carnegie (GBR). The third place went to the University Pierre Mendes France of Grenoble (FRA).
Final placement
The next Championship will be organised in Rome in 2008.
